Biologicals products are inputs derived from naturally occurring substances and is a rapidly expanding market. This presentation will provide an overview of the category and illustrate examples of commercial biological products and how they work. Implementing biological products into existing production systems and an overview of techniques to evaluate product performance will be highlighted.

Marcus Jones is a Senior Research Manager for WinField United within the Plant Nutrition and Performance portfolio focusing on research and business development of micronutrients and biologicals. Jones’ research interests include understanding mechanisms of crop tolerance to environmental stresses and research methodologies relating to experimental design and field plot techniques. Marcus received his M.S. and PhD in Horticulture from Iowa State University.
