Hunter Medenwald is a master’s student in weed science at Purdue University under the supervision of Dr. Bryan Young. He is originally from a farm in northeastern South Dakota and received his bachelor’s degree in crop and weed sciences from North Dakota State University. His research focuses on several factors that may influence herbicide dose-transfer and efficacy with spray drone applications. These factors include contact versus systemic herbicides, carrier volume, nozzles, and spray adjuvants.
