Mike Shuter - Shuter Sunset Farms in Madison County uses no-till, strip-till, and cover crops in a targeted approach to soil health. Inter-seeding cover crops to improve performance, building biomass, and suppress weeds is part of the farm approach. Using cover crops in an organic cropping system is a current development.

Cost: Free. There is a $10 fee for those receiving Pesticide Credit. this program has been approved as a Private Applicator Recertification Program (PARP) and for CCH's for Commercial Applicators. 
 
Some of the day will be spent outside. Please dress accordingly. The agenda may be changed with little notice.
