MCCC Resources for Cover Crop Success

Dr. Eileen Kladivko and Anna Morrow will present cover crop resources available from the Midwest Cover Crops Council, including new and revised products. The MCCC is a clearinghouse for cover crop resources across the Midwest. The website hosts extension materials including cover crop recipes, intended to provide a low risk strategy for farmers new to cover cropping. The popular cover crop pocket field guide has been revised and now includes additional species and expanded management sections. The online cover crop selector tool uses county level climate data to aid in seeding date and species selection based on goals. Eileen and Anna will discuss these materials and upcoming resources from MCCC including updates for Indiana, new calculators, crop advisor modules, and our annual conference.
