The Continuing Education Requirements for maintaining your certification include the following:

• A minimum of 40 CEU credits by the end of your two year CEU cycle with a minimum of 5 credits in each of the four major competency areas which are Nutrient Management, Soil & Water Management, Integrated Pest Management, and Crop Management.
• If self-directed CEUs are allowed by your local CCA Board (they are allowed in Indiana), a minimum 20 (unless greater that 20 are required by your local board) of the 40 CEUs you obtain must be pre- or post- approved by a state, regional, or provincial CCA Board.
• A maximum of 20 self study Board approved CEUs may be obtained in each 2 year period.
