Impact of No-till and Sample Handling on Soil Test Results

Soil test results are strongly influenced by management practices such as reduced tillage and can have a profound impact on nutrient management decisions. Inevitably, soil sample handling including storage and shipping of samples prior to analysis can also influence percieved soil fertility levels. This presentation will highlight the impact of no-till systems on soil sample results, as well as sample handling procedures prior to analysis that can influence nutrient management decisions in agronomic systems.
