Limiting Factors: How Soil Insect Control and Disease Suppression Can Help Maximize Yield

1:00pm - 2:00pm

It's easy to determine plant health by what we can see above ground. But what about some of the limiting factors affecting yield that are lurking below the soil? A crop's root system plays a vital role in overall plant health and, ultimately, yield. Learn from FMC seasoned Technical Expert, Robert Hooten, about how to protect your crops - and your yield - through soil insect control and disease suppression. Earn CEU credits, and walk away with insights from recent research trials and best practices in the field. Key Takeaways: o What are some of the limiting factors lying beneath the soil's surface that impact yield throughout the growing season o What are some of the key insects that can affect plant stand and root systems, and how to control them o How to determine thresholds and proper treatment options o What are some examples of disease pressure that can negatively affect yield, and how do you manage them o How some of FMC's products are performing in the fields to help control these limiting factors
