The InfoAg Conference

Since 1995, the InfoAg Conference has been the premier event for discussion and advancement of precision agriculture. This event draws interest from domestic and international agriculture professionals and features a wide range of educational and networking opportunities for professionals interested in learning more about precision agriculture techniques.

Central Indiana Field Day

CCH Directions:
Participants are only allowed to attend 4 sessions throughout the day. Each session the participants will have 1/4 topics to select. At the end of the session, a sign in sheet will be sent around by an Extension Educator to have participants record the session they attended. By the end of the day, participants are allowed a maximum of 4 CCHs for the event. These individuals are REQUIRED to come to the Regulatory topic at 1:15 PM.
 
CEU Directions:
Each session will have sign-in/sign-out sheets that the Certified Crop Advisors must sign! They are not required to come to the Regulatory topic at 1:15 PM.
 
PARP Directions:
Participants are required to attend two PARP approved topics. Each participant requesting PARP credits must obtain a PARP Ticket from the Extension Educator that is hosting each session. The participant MUST come to the Regulatory Topic at 1:00 PM with TWO PARP Tickets. They will sign attendance sheets and pay $10.00 PARP Fee.

Dr. Bob Nielsen (Purdue Extension Corn Specialist) will be giving an update in the latest trends and research results happing across the country in corn production. 
9:05 – 9:45 AM (REQUESTING CCH [ CAT 1, 14] CEU, & PARP CREDITS)
Dr. Jim Camberato (Purdue Extension Soil Nutrient Specialist) will be giving an update soil fertility practices and nutrient management. 
9:05 - 9:45 AM (REQUESTING CCH [CAT 1], CEU, & PARP CREDITS)
Joe Rorick will discuss key management practices in cover crop systems as well as economics of cover crops.
9:05 – 9:45 AM (REQUESTING CCH [Cat. 1], CEU, & PARP CREDITS)
Dr. Klein Ileleji (Purdue Extension ABE Specialist) will provide information on post-harvest management of grains in storage systems.

Session 2
9:50 – 10:30 AM (REQUESTING CCH [CAT 1], CEU, & PARP CREDITS)
John Scott (Purdue Digital Agriculture Coordinator) will be talking about digital diagnostics for decision making in soybeans.  Using remote sensing to look at physiology of soybeans.
9:50 – 10:30 AM (REQUESTING CCH [Cat. 1], CEU, & PARP CREDITS)
Marcelo Zimmer (Purdue Extension Weed Specialist) will discuss his research on weeds and cover crop hosts.

John Obermeyer (Purdue Entomology Specialist), will give an update on 2019 entomology issues and will provide information based on his latest research.
